Edwin Brown

Mr. Edwin Leon Brown, 77, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Allegiant Specialty Hospital in Greenville, MS. Visitation will be 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday June 28, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Hill officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens in Clarksdale, MS.
Mr. Brown was born December 30, 1935 to Willie Henry Brown and Virginia Christine Shearer. He loved to coach baseball, fish and camping. He was a wonderful cook. He retired from Aramark after 40 years of working.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Lakosky; sons, Jerry Dean Walker (Carolyn), Junior Brown; daughters, Jackie Brown Davis (Pete), Diana Lynn Brown; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be, Randy Little, Mike Little, Bill Stembridge, Mark Williams, Sammy Esch, and Bobby Williamson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis "Caveman" Raines, and Tim Burchfield.
