James Chisolm

Mr. James Edward Chisolm, 84, of Shaw, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Bro Robert Haney officiating. Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery.
Mr. Chisolm was born March 31, 1930 to James Columbus Chisolm and Cordie White. On November 25, 1961 he married Myrite Katherine Sterling. He was a farm worker all his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and attended Southside Baptist Church.
Mr. Chisolm is preceded in death by his parents, James and Cordie Chisolm; wife, Myrite Chisolm; brothers, Earl Chisolm and Douglas Chisolm; sisters, Mildred Robertson and Peggy Johnson.
Mr. Chisolm is survived by his sons, James Richard Chisolm of Shaw and David Allen Chisolm of Grenada; brother, Billy Chisolm of Cleveland; sister, Ona Crocker of Greenville; grandchildren, James Richard Chisolm, Jonathan Dewayne Chisolm, David Dalton Edward Chisolm, Stephanie Amber Nicole Chisolm; great grandchild, Jase Morgan Chisolm.
