Marie Threet

Marie Chandler Threet, 89, of Ruleville, MS, passed away October 8, 2012, at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, MS, from complications of Stevens Johnson Syndrome.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Henry and Jewel Sweatt Chandler, brother Earl Chandler, and sister Irene Pratt.
Marie worked at the Ruleville Baptist Church, Baxter Labs in Cleveland, Bolivar County Hospital, Delta State University, and the Justice Court in Ruleville.
Survivors are husband, Cecil Bernard Threet, daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Bob Pedersen of Brandon, MS, grand daughter and her husband, Erica and Michael Lorence of Brandon, MS, grandson Dane Pedersen of Harrisonburg, VA, and great-grand daughters Anna Grace, Bella Ward, Lady Catherine, and Pippa Marie Lorence of Brandon, MS. Surviving siblings are brother Ray (Imogene) Chandler of Alexandria, LA and sisters Evelyn Ray, Ollie Willingham, Maudine Andrews, and Joanne (Bill) Story, all of Ruleville and Kathryn Starnes of Ocean Springs, MS. "Aunt Rie" is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation will be at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS, Wednesday, October 10, 2012, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Service will be held at the Ruleville Baptist Church Thursday, October 11, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Higdon Herrington officiating. Interment will follow at Lehrton Cemetery.
