WauWeace C. Forbes, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be 10:00-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Interstate Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert Haney officiating.
Mrs. Forbes was born June 9, 1925, to Arthur Coalter and Helen Moore Coalter. On August 14, 1945, she married Thomas Franklin Forbes in Cleveland, MS. She worked for thirty years as a receptionist in the medical profession.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Helen Coalter; husband, Thomas Franklin Forbes; and two sisters, Robbie Hostek and Lela Hazzard.
Mrs. Forbes is survived by her two children, Thomas Franklin Forbes, Jr. (Malinda) of Pensacola, FL and Bobbie Forbes Pantin (Ken) of Boyle, MS; four grandchildren, Justin Forbes, Corey Forbes, and Ricky Jernigan (Erin) all of Florida, and Hank Pantin (Ginny) of Greenwood; and six great-grandchildren.
