Addie Davis

Addie Louise Frazier Davis, 91, of Cleveland, MS went to be with the Lord Friday, April 8, 2022.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery in Cleveland, MS. 

Addie was born October 11, 1930, to James and Sammie Frazier in Skene, MS.  She married Gary “Don” Davis February 25, 1950, in Leland, MS.  Addie worked for USPS until her retirement in 1998.  She loved traveling with her husband, sister, brother-in-law, and friends.  Most of all she loved spending time with all her grandchildren and great children. 

She is predeceased by her parents, Marshall and Sammie Frazier; loving husband, Gary “Don” Davis; sister, Betty Burton; and grandson, Scott Mays.

Addie is survived by her children Lynette Vick of Brandon, MS; Denona Proctor (Frank) of Boyle, MS; Eldridge “Mike” Davis (Angie) of Lake Village, AR; and Doyle Davis (Donna) of Linden, TN; grandchildren, Angie, Cindy, Dene, Bill, Mike Jr., Jenifer, Chad, Bradley, Stephen, and Frank Jr.; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and best friend, Sammie Burchfield. Special care givers, Jennifer Cook and Willie Dorsey.
