Alfred Angeli, a beloved member of the community, passed away on September 6, 2025, in Sardis, Mississippi, at the age of 89. Visitation will take place on September 12, 2025, at St. Francis-Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw, MS, starting at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held at Shaw Cemetery. Alfred Angeli will be deeply missed, but his spirit and impact will remain in the memories of all who knew him.

Alfred was born on January 9, 1936, in Union City, New Jersey, Alfred moved to Shaw, MS, with his family when he was just three years old. He would go on to serve his community with pride both personally and professionally throughout his life.

Alfred dedicated 41 years to Modern Line products tool and dye manufacturing in Indianola, where he became a respected figure in his field. His work ethic and commitment to quality were unmatched, and his colleagues admired him not only for his skills but for his kindness and mentorship.

Beyond his career, Alfred was a loving uncle who shared a deep bond with his nieces and nephew. He was described as more like a brother than an uncle, embodying a spirit that brought warmth and joy to their lives. Alfred had a childlike heart and a profound love for the Lord, which he expressed through daily prayers and gratitude for creation. His pets, especially Maggie, held a special place in his heart, illustrating his compassionate nature.

An enthusiast of games and music, Alfred loved playing dominoes, chess, and various card games. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, and one of his favorite pastimes was listening to Elvis Presley, particularly the uplifting tunes of "Boogie Woogie."

Alfred's dedication was not only present in his personal life but also evident in his role as a proud member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where he cherished his faith and community.

He is survived by his loving niece, Debra Reginelli Henley; nephew, Michael M. Reginelli (Kathy); great niece, Amanda Henley Rose (Casey); great grandnephews, Caden Hunter Rose and Conner Joseph Rose; great niece, LeLabon Reginelli Fife (Hunter); great grandniece, Ella Fife; and great grandnephew, Rorick Fife.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mollie Angeli; sister, Catherine Angeli Reginelli (Armando); and nephew-in-law, Johnny D Henley. Alfred’s legacy of love, laughter, and faith will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who cherished him.
