Allie Grace McMurry, born on December 9, 1935, in Pace, left this world on September 27, 2025. A beloved mother and dedicated homemaker, Allie was known for her caring and kind nature, always offering a warm smile and a listening ear to those around her. She often spoke about her faith and the Lord, and her deep love for family was evident in every aspect of her life.A member of Skene Baptist Church, Grace’s faith was a guiding force in her life. She spent many hours reading the Bible, drawing strength and solace from its teachings. Her commitment to her spiritual life was matched only by her devotion to her family. Grace cherished moments spent with her husband, Clarence Walter McMurry, and created lasting memories fishing with him and her grandchildren. Grace had a lifelong curiosity and zest for life that was expressed in her hobbies. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and crocheting, pursuits that she often shared with family. Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Walter McMurry. sister and brother-in-law: Dot (Carl)Tarver. Grandchildren Clarence Leslie, and Wesley Eugene. Daughter in law Deborah Kay McMurry.She is survived by her son, Wesley McMurry (Daphne); her daughter, Donna Baioni, (Tommy); and her brother, Jack, Stewart (Linda). Her grandchildren—Bridget Baioni, Brandon Baioni (Molly), Wes McMurry (Nikki), Tabatha Belk (Robbie), Trenyde Holmes (Nick), Dasen McMurry, and Westen McMurry—as well as her great-grandchildren—Destiny Lee (Josh), Dustin Gilliland (Shelby), Presley Belk, Porter Belk, Kaysi Belk, Isabella Holmes, Patton Holmes (cotton), Owen Baioni, and great-great-grandchildren Corbin Gilliland, Everleigh Gilliland, and Khylea Selby, Sister in love, Faye York. These moments filled her heart with joy and were a testament to the loving family she nurtured throughout her life. Grace also shared close bonds with her friends, including Irene and Danny Walker, Travis York, and Kathy Warfeild, who cherished her kindness and generous spirit.Though she has departed from this life, Allie Grace McMurry's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her caring nature, unwavering faith, and devotion to her family will be celebrated and remembered by all.The family would like to give special thanks to family member Faye York, Ms. Grace's caregiver, Jamie Allen her nurse, and Terriana Wilson her CNA. The family appreciates and thanks y’all for all y’all did to help take care of her.
