Amy Buckles Klein, 44, of Cleveland, Mississippi passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. The funeral service will be held at The First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Mississippi on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Ricky Young. Masks are required. The service also will be livestreamed on the Ray Funeral Home Facebook website for those who are unable to attend in person. Amy was born on July 13, 1976, in Cleveland, Mississippi to Jackie Smith Buckles and the late Bobby Earl Buckles. On December 4, 2010 she married the love of her life Jeremy Ryan Klein of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. She is a 1994 graduate of Cleveland High School. Amy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Delta State University in 2000. Amy was employed as Human Resource Manager by JanTran, Inc. of Rosedale, Mississippi; Stonebelt in Bloomington, Indiana; and ManPower of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Amy served as President of Twin Lakes Human Resources Association. Amy was a member of First United Methodist Church and served as the Young Adults Sunday School Leader and assisted with Children's Church and Vacation Bible School. For the Crosstie Arts Council, she served as Board Member and Festival Chair. She volunteered as Exhibitor Coordinator and Concessions Chair. Amy was a member of the DSU Alumni Association and North Delta Phi Mu Fraternity Alumnae Chapter.
For the Junior Auxiliary of Cleveland, she served as Chairman of Children's Benefit Ball and the Executive Board. In Mountain Home, she served as President and Ex Offico, and Co-Chair of Food for Families. She was a mentor to local public-school students. After her service as an active member, Amy was the JA Regional Chapter Support Coordinator. During her time in Bloomington, Indiana, Amy served as the Lotus International Music Festival Coordinator and Vice President of the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Amy is most known for her sky blue eyes, her uninhibited fun-loving spirit, and her amazing ability to make everyone she met be an instant friend. Her energetic and magnetizing personality left a lasting impression and a smile on the heart on any person fortunate enough to cross paths with her.
Amy is survived by her loving husband Jeremy of Cleveland; her adoring mother Jackie Buckles of Cleveland; her beloved "Pops" Lawrence Spadini of Shaw; her parents-in-law Samuel and Kathleen Klein of Delaware; brother-in-law Andrew Klein of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law Jeff (Jodie) Klein of Delaware and her precious niece and nephew Samantha and Thomas. To honor Amy's beautiful life, the family has requested donations be made to local grassroots organizations of your choice, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
