Anna Frances (Wilson) Sanders, born on January 7, 1945, in Cleveland, MS, departed from this world on January 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Her life was a testament to dedication, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting those around her. As a nurse LPN for over 50 years, Anna played a pivotal role in the lives of countless families, especially in her beloved community where, affectionately, if you were born in Cleveland, MS, she more than likely delivered you.
Visitation will take place on January 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS, followed by a Celebration of Life from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A graveside service will immediately follow at Old Cleveland Cemetery, starting at 12:45 PM.
A cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Anna is survived by her daughter Angie Corbin; son Michael (Tatianna) Sanders; grandson Jacob Campbell, son of Angie Corbin; and William and Anna Victoria Sanders, children of Rebekka Sanders; as well as Ana Maria Sanders, child of Tatianna. Her brother George Taylor Wilson and her sister Dianne MSGT (Larry) Campbell also carry forward her legacy, alongside a host of loving nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory dear to their hearts.
Anna’s spirit was as bright as her kindness was deep. Known as "Everyone's Grandma," she had an innate ability to nurture and comfort, always welcoming friends and family with a pot of coffee and warm muffins. Her home was a sanctuary filled with laughter, love, and the aromas of her cooking, reflecting her caring and loving personality. Anna was very Godly and her faith shone through in all aspects of her life.
Beyond her professional achievements, which included being a proud high school graduate and earning her LPN license, Anna cherished hobbies that brought her joy. A passionate gardener, she could often be found nurturing her plants, and her love for travel took her to places like Germany, which she explored in the only way she knew how—First Class.
Her passing leaves a profound void filled with memories that her family and friends will treasure forever. As they gather to honor her life, they are reminded of her deep commitment to her family, her infectious laughter, and her boundless love that will continue to inspire everyone she touched.
Anna Frances (Wilson) Sanders will be remembered not just for her contributions to her profession but for the love and warmth she poured into every moment spent with those she adored. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, siblings, and all who had the privilege to know her.
A speical thank you to the care givers, who helped and loved on Anna through out this process, Linda Fairs, Tina Clayton, Linda Curb, Janice
