Archie Clyde "A.C" Tidmore Jr, 80, of Merigold, MS went on to be with the Lord on December 7, 2020. A.C. was born on December 8, 1939 to Archie Clyde Tidmore Sr. and Glenn Patridge Tidmore in Merigold, MS. He married Louise Blackwell on Novembeer 26, 1961 in Cleveland, MS. He served in the National Guard. He worked as a farmer all his life at the Tidmore Farms Partnership. He held several titles in the community. He was a deacon of Drew Baptist Church, member of Drew Lions Club, and a board member of the North Sunflower Academy for 14 years. He loved his Lord and Savior. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, and trail riding. He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie Clyde Tidmore Sr. and Glenn Patridge Tidmore; son, Archie Clyde Tidmore III; brother, Ralph Tidmore; and sister, Shirley Beach. He is survived by his loving wife Martha Louise Tidmore; son, Art Tidmore (Sandy) of Merigold, MS; daughter, Amy Smith of Brandon, MS; daughter, Angie Robinson (Phil) of Arlington, TN; grandchildren, Tanner Tidmore, Andrew Robinson, Hays Tidmore, Darby Robinson, and Nathan Robinson; sisters, Corrinne Hunt of Cleveland, MS, Barbara Ann Standford of Skene, MS, Bettie Dickey of Drew, MS, and Catherine Stewart of Cleveland, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Drew United Methodist Church or St. Jude
