Arthur Lee Olen Hicks III

Arthur Lee Olen Hicks III passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 37 in his hometown of Cleveland, MS. He was born on September 12, 1984 to Cheryl Rogers Davis and Art Hicks in Greenwood, MS. He attended Cleveland High School and North Arkansas Community College. Lee worked as an electrician and was happiest out on the lake fishing or in the woods hunting. He was a devoted son and father and everyone who knew Lee, knew that he considered his mom his best friend and he got his charm from his Dad Lee is preceded in death by his grandmother Annette Rogers Warner, and his grandfather Alfred Rogers. Lee is survived by his mother Cheryl Davis (husband Tim) of Azle, TX, father Art Hicks (wife Konnie) of Carrolton, MS, grandmother Sue Cook (Erwin) of Gore Springs, MS, brother Justin Hicks who he lovingly called his "baby sister" and his wife Britney of Inverness, MS, his sister Dakota Hicks of Carrolton, MS, sister Bethany Bankston (Gaines) of Carrolton, MS, his life-long love Ashley Hicks of Tupelo, MS, children Fischer Hicks (10) and Eli Hicks (8) of Tupelo, MS, Brynlee Hicks (15) of Senatobia, MS, and a host of family. Visitation will be at Church of Faith in Cleveland, MS on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10 a.m. and the funeral immediately after at 11. Burial service to follow at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS. Pallbearers will be Wade Skeen, Colby Skeen, Ryan Kent, Rodney Beaver, Stevie Goss, and Marcus Bowen. Honorary pallbearers will be William "Bubba" Rogers, Barry Kent, Joe Skeen and Mark Jennings.
