Barbara Ann Davis

Mrs. Barbara Ann Davis, 78, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at her home. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home. Barbara's Memorial Service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Holtz officiating.
Mrs. Davis was born in Merigold, MS, on September 22, 1937, to Clarence Junkin and Vivian Weaver Junkin. On January 16, 1965, she married Don M. Davis in Greenville, MS. In 1978, she began working as a bookkeeper at A&L Bolt and Screw Company. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman. She thought of many of her friend's grandchildren as her own, but her biggest pride and joy was her granddaughter, Olivia Ann Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Junkin and Vivian Weaver Junkin.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Don Davis of Cleveland; sons, Martin Davis and Brian Davis both of Cleveland; granddaughter, Olivia Ann Davis; and numerous other beloved extended family members.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hazel Junkin and Marion Weaver.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mrs. Davis' honor to the American Cancer Society by visiting cancer.org.
