Bo Reeves

James A (Bo) Reeves, 87, of Skene, MS, formerly of Michigan City, In, passed away on August 27^th, 2019 with cancer in Michigan City. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Breland officiating. Interment will be in New Cleveland Cemetery.
Bo was born on June 15, 1932 and raised in Skene, MS and graduated from Skene Consolidated School.  After graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served in the service during the Korean War. He worked many years as a driver for Team Transport Company.  After retiring he enjoyed working at Carson's in Michigan City.
He had an unmatched passion for life.  He loved to joke and have fun.  He will be well remembered for his infectious laugh.
Bo is preceded in death by father, Claude Reeves; mother, Helen Stubbs Reeves; bother, Stanley Reeves; daughter, Judy Treece; grandsons, Mark Reeves and J R Treece.
He will be sadly missed by daughters, Shelia Justice, Michelle Livinghouse (Scott); sisters, Carolyn Stanford, Mary Burnthorne (Jimmy), Claudine Millican, and Shirley Hewitt; grandsons, Billy and Robert Justice, Josh Harris; granddaughters, Tracy and Vanessa Justice. Bo left behind a number of nieces and nephews who loved him..  A host of friends and very close and special nephew, Keith Hewitt.
