Brenda Thompson Roberts, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Clinton, MS. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at noon. Interment will be at the New Cleveland Cemetery.
Brenda was born on July 8, 1959, to Frank & Betsy Thompson in Cleveland, Brenda lived a life deeply rooted in kindness, service, and a strong connection to her faith and loved ones.
A proud graduate of Cleveland High School, Brenda furthered her education by attending Delta State University. Her dedication to helping others was evident throughout her career. She devoted ten years as an assistant teacher, impacting many young lives with patience and care. Brenda also offered her skills and compassion in the medical field, working as a medical technician. She also worked at Magnolia Marina, where she served for over five years.
Brenda was a devoted member of Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church, where her faith and commitment to community were deeply felt by all who knew her. She had a warm and generous spirit, always ready to offer help to those in need. Brenda’s love extended beyond people to her beloved pets Chloe, Precious, and Aspen, who brought great joy to her life. Among her favorite pastimes was playing bunco, an activity through which she shared much laughter and camaraderie.
She is survived by her loving husband, Perry Roberts, and her treasured pets, Chloe, Precious, and Aspen. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Betsy Thompson; her brother, Mike Thompson; as well as her aunt, Jean Thompson; and her uncle, John Worrell.
Brenda Thompson Roberts will be remembered for her heartfelt generosity, steadfast faith, and the warmth she brought to every life she touched. Her legacy of compassion and loyalty remains an enduring inspiration to those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
