Brooxie Coleman Cutts

Mrs. Brooxie Coleman Cutts, 80, of Cleveland, MS, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Hospice Ministries Ridgeland. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 and then 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Artie Nute, Rev. Clarence Edwards, Rev. Bill Stanford, and Rev. Tim McCarter officiating. Interment will be in Lehrton Cemetery. Mrs. Cutts was born in Vaiden, MS, on October 9, 1936, to Thomas Henry Coleman and Audie Lee Mann. On June 5, 1954, she married Edward Cutts in Winona, MS. She attended Boyle Baptist and also enjoyed going to the Cleveland Church of Christ Bible study. She loved her family, always putting them first in her life. She was a generous woman who always welcomed others into her home to eat or take food home with them. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cutts; son, Thomas Joseph Cutts; parents, Thomas Henry Coleman and Audie Lee Mann; brother, Thomas Cleveland Coleman; sisters, Tommie Lee Muirhead and Sharlene Coleman Hudson. Mrs. Cutts is survived by her daughter, Cindy C. Nutt (Bennie) of Flora, MS; sister, Barbara Wheeler (Bob) of Hernando, MS; brother, Cledith Coleman (Micki) of Florida; and great-niece, whom she loved and considered as her granddaughter, Ashley Gilbert Ivy. Pallbearers will be Keith Wheeler, Jeff Gilder, Jerry Turner, Luke Ivy, Lee Nutt, and Franz Barnes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benny Coleman, Babe Gilbert, James Joel, and Jeff McCreary. In memory of Mrs. Cutts, the family requests donations made to Mississippi Baptist Children's Village.
