Carlton Camise
Carlton Luthyra McArthur Camise, longtime resident of Cleveland and Starkville, died, Thursday, May 19, 2011 at OCH Medical Center in Starkville, MS.
She was born July 1, 1927 to Lola Alice Williams and Carl Luther McArthur in Bolivar County.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Camise; sister, Eurlarene M. Camp; and nephew, Mith Hutchinson.
Mrs. Camise is survived by her sister, Juanita M Hutchinson; brothers, Bobby D. McArthur (Martha) and William Nelson McArthur of Cleveland. She also leaves three nieces, three nephews, and several great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
She retired June 30, 1984 from South Central Bell after 38 years of service. Lou and Joe retired to CA MAC Farm in Starkville, where they raised Angus cattle.
Graveside service will be held, Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in North Cleveland Cemetery with Rev. Robert Haney officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorials be sent to the DSU Margaret Wade Statue Fund, DSU Foundation Inc., Box 3141, Cleveland, MS 38732.
