Charles D. Hardin, 76, of Cleveland, MS went on to be with the Lord on October 27, 2020. A visitation will take place at Ray Funeral Home from 10-11 A.M on October 31, 2020.A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11am at Ray Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at at the Merigold Cemetery. He was born on February 21, 1944 in Grace, MS to David Oliver Hardin and Earlie Mae Price Hardin. He grew up in Merigold, and attended and graduated from Cleveland High School. He went on to marry Juanita Faye Hardin. He joined the United States Armed forces and served in the National Guard until being honorably discharged. He worked for the Ceramic Tile Plant for several years, along with Baxter Lab, D & L, and Layne Central Irrigation Company as a Supervisor for many years until retiring. He was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish. He often solved many world problems with other friends at 2pm everyday over coffee. He is preceded in passing by his parents, David and Earlie Mae Hardin; loving wife, Juanita Faye Hardin; and his brother, Jerry Hardin. He is survived by his three children, Patrick Hardin, Michael Hardin, and Shannon Oglesby (Warren); one brother, Billy Wayne Hardin (Janene); grandchildren, Jon Dalton Thompson, Corey McLaughlin, Hannah Brentlinger (Reed), Malie Oglesby, Kayden Oglesby, and Spencer Oglesby, and one great grandchild, Norah Brentlinger.
