Charlotte Edwards

Charlotte Wynne Edwards 81, of Sidon, MS went to be with the Lord March 24, 2023. A visitation honoring her life will be held Tuesday, March 28 at Ray Funeral Home from 10:00-12:00.  Graveside service will follow in the Itta Bena Cemetery at 1:00.

Charlotte was born March 28, 1941 at Sallis, MS, to Roy and Gladys Wynne.  She attended Delta State University, married Pittman Edwards, Sr, and was a loving mother to their only child, Pittman Edwards, Jr.  She worked at Cleveland State Bank for over 40 years where she enjoyed every minute of helping her customers, but her biggest joy was following her grandchildren to all their activities.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 63 years, Pittman Edwards, Sr.; son Pittman, Jr.(Deanna); grandchildren, Trace; Sara Peyton; and John Butler.  All of Cleveland, MS.

She is preceded i death by her parents, Roy and Gladys Wynne; her infant twin babies, Derek and Trey; sister and brother-in-law, Wendell & Peggy McCaleb.
