Clifton Claud Palmer Jr

Clifton Claude Palmer Jr., a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He was born on November 2, 1962 in Shaw, Mississippi, to Ruth Palmer and the late Clifton C. Palmer Sr.

Clifton had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the simple pleasures in life. A true man of nature, he found peace and enjoyment hunting and fishing. He loved exploring the woods on his 4-wheeler, taking in the beauty around him. When he wasn't outside, you might find him engrossed in a good book, or rocking out to his favorite rock music.

He was a man who loved to tinker and build. His hands were often busy working on guns and motors or adding to his impressive collection of pocket knives. He was a dedicated fan of wrestling, but above all else, Clifton cherished time spent with his family and pets. His quiet presence and loving nature will be profoundly missed.

Clifton was preceded in death by his father, Clifton C. Palmer Sr., and his sister, Mary Palmer Lowery.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Ruth Palmer; and his siblings: Debbie Jackson, Johnny Palmer, James Palmer, Judy Palmer (Michael), Charles Palmer (Tina), and Timothy Lowery Sr. (Brother-in-law)

He was a proud uncle to many and leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Crystal Jackson, Sean Jackson, Daniel Jackson, Lori Galabiz (Dean), Josè "Mikey" Galabiz Jr., Monica Galabiz, Mari-Anna Hoover (Josh), Timothy Lowery Jr., Tonya Fussell (Jacob), Charles Palmer Jr., and Stephen Palmer.

Clifton's legacy of love extends to his great-nieces and great-nephews: Chloe Phelps, Savannah Phelps, Ayden Galabiz, Anastacia Arthur, Roman Arthur, Liliana Arthur, Greyson Arthur, Rosa Hoover, Alex Hoover, and Avonlee Simon.

A Comforting Word

The family finds comfort in the words of scripture:

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.”

— Psalm 23:1-3
