Mac was born on July 1, 1943, to Clyde and Margaret McClain in Shaw, MS. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Cold War. In the mornings, you could find Mac drinking a cup of coffee on his porch and in the afternoon, you would see him riding his four-wheeler enjoying wildlife with a cold drink in his hand. He was always reading something on his computer, he loved to read and also tell stories. Mac told humorous stories about anything and everything. He loved his cats, loved them so much that he ran a dog off to make sure his animals were safe and comfortable. Mac never met a stranger, he loved talking to people and getting to know them. His favorite philosophy in life was "Mind over matter. I don't mind and it don't matter".
