Dale was born on July 4, 1958, in Cleveland, Mississippi, to Charles and Lois Braswell. She married Lee Albritton on July 5, 1980, in Cleveland, Mississippi. The couple had two children, Christopher and Lori.
Dale's love language was cooking, and she found joy in spending time in the kitchen with her daughter, Lori. The times spent preparing meals and creating delicious delights are memories that will forever be held dear by her family. Dale had a true passion for gardening as well, possessing a remarkable green thumb that enabled her to nurture plants and flowers into beautiful creations.
She was a woman who embraced life with enthusiasm, relishing her time outdoors and creating lasting memories with her family and grandsons. Her happiest moments were often shared with her family as well as her best friend of 40 years, Tommie Sue Taylor. Dale’s affectionate nature extended to watching Sunday football with her son-in-law, where laughter and camaraderie filled the room.
She joins her late husband, Lee Albritton, her parents Charles and Lois Braswell, her son Christopher Albritton, and her sister Peggy Boykin in eternal rest.
Dale leaves behind her beloved daughter, Lori Shackleford and her husband Chris of Hernando, Mississippi; her adored grandsons, Michael and Thomas Shackleford, Parker and Jacob Albritton; her loving twin sister, Nell Bruce; her nephew, Kenny Bruce and his wife Jessica; and her great niece, Abby Bruce, along with her great nephew, Steve Bruce. She is also survived by her aunt and uncle Shelia and Roy Ray, whose presence brought joy to her life.
Dale Albritton will be remembered not only for her culinary talents and gardening skills but also for the warmth she brought to everyone she met. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends, who will continue to carry her spirit within them.
