Dale Spencer Kight, 75, formerly of Ruleville, MS, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family and community. Visitation will be 11:a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS, with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS.
Dale was born on August 17, 1949, in Ruleville, Mississippi to Dallas and Kathryn Spencer.
Dale's commitment to excellence was evident throughout her career as the owner of a successful advertising company. Her keen insight and innovative spirit not only propelled her business ventures but also inspired those around her in the industry. She approached her work with the same warmth and enthusiasm that characterized her personality; Dale never met a stranger and had a unique ability to connect with everyone she encountered.
Education played a significant role in Dale’s life. After graduating from Ruleville High School, she continued her academic journey at Delta State University. This foundation fostered her lifelong love of learning and personal growth.
Dale was known for her extraordinary capacity for love, particularly towards her family. She was the proud mother of a son, Lynn Hardin (Angel), and a daughter, Dallas Lefebvre (Chris). Along with her grandchildren, McKenzie Lefebvre, Shelby Koryak, SJ Lefebvre, Cole Lefebvre, Katie Stigall, Spencer Hardin, her dedication to her children and grandchildren was boundless, and she provided a nurturing environment filled with encouragement and support.
Dale's parents, Dallas and Kathryn Spencer, and husband, Captain James Kight, predeceased her, and she carried their cherished memories with her throughout her life. Her legacy will undoubtedly live on through the values they instilled in her, as well as in the hearts of her children and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we remember Dale Spencer Kight, we celebrate a life that touched many and a spirit that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
