David Henry Stuhr Jr.

David Henry Stuhr Jr., 91, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at North Sunflower Medical Center. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2019. A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Owen officiating.
David was born on February 2, 1928, to David Henry and Mary Ona Stuhr. On September 10, 1950, he married Patricia Miller in Boyle, MS. He was a good family man and an avid lover of all animals. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Organization and the American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Nowell; and parents, David and Mary Stuhr.
David is survived by his wife, Patricia Stuhr; daughter, Roxanne Brown (Charles) of Mexico Beach, FL; his granddaughters, India Hawkins (Andy) and Jacqueline Nowell Morgan (David) of Canton, MS; son-in-law, Jack Nowell of Cleveland; and three great-grandsons
Donations in honor of Mr. Stuhr may be made to the Paw Prints Animal Shelter or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
