Deborah Johnson

Debbie Johnson, 69, of Merigold Ms. passed away Thursday, January 14,2021 at Oxford Baptist Hospital. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Debbie was born October 20, 1951 to Arthur Farris and Grace Wilson Farris in Seattle Washington. As her family traveled being a military child she found her last childhood home to be in Beeville, Texas. Hobbies were most spent outside working in the flower beds where she had a green thumb and could grow anything. She also enjoyed cooking and quilting in her spare time. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Johnson; father, Arthur Farris; and brother, Arthur Lee Farris. She is survived by her mother, Grace Wilson Farris of Beevile, TX; brother, George Farris (Bobbi) of Austin, TX; sisters, Crystal Farris of Beeville, TX and Stella Bromley (Kevin) of Austin, TX; children, Jerry Hunt (Tanise) of Lexington, TX, and Tommy Hunt (Wanda) of Merigold, MS; grandchildren, Chase Hunt, Brooke Alvarez (Eric), Harli Hunt of College Station TX, Jerad Hunt, and Mallory Hunt of Merigold, MS; and great grandson, Cash Hunt.
