 Dorothy Earl Kelly Holder “Dot” ,100 of Merigold, MS Passed away June 18, 2022, in Cleveland, MS

A visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home from 10:30-12PM

graveside service will follow in the Delta Heights Memorial Garden at 12:00pm

Dorothy was born on 6 May 1922 in Boyle, MS to her late parents Joseph Marcellus Kelly and Lavada Tucker Kelly. “Dot” attended Boyle Schools from elementary through high school, then graduated Drew High School, 1940 after moving to Sunflower Plantation with her family. She married Leroy Wilson Holder on 6 June 1942, at the parsonage of the Baptist Church in Merigold, MS. She earned her nursing license through Mississippi Delta Junior College in 1979 and was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at North

Sunflower Hospital until 1998. She was a dedicated member of Sunflower Church of the Nazarene and was active in all church activities, then later joined  the Cleveland Church of the Nazarene. She had a close and loving relationship with her siblings and strived to maintain that relationship her entire life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished her family immediate and extended family dearly.

Kelly (brother), Mary Francis Edwards (sister).
