Edna Marion Weaver

Edna Marion Weaver, 79, of Cleveland, MS went to be with the Lord Monday, August 22, 2022.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.

Marion was born February 17, 1943 to Robert and Addie Langston in Cleveland, MS.  She married William “Bill” Wayne Weaver April 17, 1964 in Cleveland, MS.  Marion was a member of Morrison Chapel Baptist Church.  She loved spending time with her family.  Marion enjoyed her Sunday School sisters in Christ and going for lunch with them once a week.  She loved painting, working with ceramics, and working in her yard.  Marion had a servant’s heart.  She always was there to take care of everyone if they were sick, celebrating a special occasion or just needing a helping hand. 

She is predeceased by her parents, Robert Calvin and Addie Lee Langston; daughter, Diana Lyn Weaver; sisters, Marice Peacock and Barbara Ann Fleming; and brothers, Robert Calvin Langston, Jr. and William Curtis Langston. 

Marion is survived by her loving husband, Bill Weaver; son, Gregory "Greg" Wayne Weaver, grandchildren, Mari McKenzie Winters, David Weaver, and Joseph Weaver; great grandchildren, Chase, Adelyn, and Ansley Winters; sister, Carol Seal; along with a host of nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
