Bishop Edward Earle Hall, 87, of Pace, MS called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Veteran's Home in Oxford, MS. A visitation honoring Bishop Hall will take place Friday, June 28, 2019 at Ray Funeral Home from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:00AM at Ray Funeral Home.
Bro. Hall was born on January 27, 1932 to John Clark Hall and Lucy Agnes McKnight Hall in Cleveland, MS, where he attended school. He went on to serve the United States in the Korean War. Bro. Hall founded Pace Pentecostal Church in 1954 where he was Pastor and Bishop until he passed away. He and Sis. Hall touched thousands of lives throughout the world through their ministry. He was on a mission with God "for souls."
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Jerry Hall; his grandsons, Colton and Matt Hall; his brother, John Hall; his sister, Wanda Henderson; his nephew, Gopher Hall; and his parents, Agnes and Clark Hall
Edward is survived by his daughter, Dianne Cooksey (Butch) of Pace, MS; his sons, Eddie Hall (Kathy) of Pace, MS, Steve Hall (Cheryl) of Diana, TX, Mark Hall (Molly) of Boyle, MS; his grandchildren, Chris Gentry (Jordan) of Pace, MS, Jeff Gentry of Rogers, AR, Mark Hall Jr. (Leigh Ann) of Boyle, MS, Chelsea Hall of Boyle, MS, Magan Skinner (Jonathan) of Pace, MS, Chase Hall (April) of Pace, MS and Corey Hall of Diana, TX; his great-grandchildren, Lauren Cummins (Brandon) of Cleveland, MS, Lexi and Kiersten Gentry of Brandon, MS, Lathan and Aden Hall of Boyle, MS. Micah, Katie, Zoe, and Naomi Skinner of Pace, MS. Olivia, Dakota, and Levi Gentry of Pace, MS, Issac Hall of Pace, MS; his great-great-grandchildren, Brailyn Cummins of Cleveland and Nathan Johnson of Brandon, MS.
