Evelyn Johnson Cooper Yarborough, 87, of Senatobia, MS was called home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2021. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Ray Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow in the Merigold City Cemetery, officiated by her son-in-law, Dr. Harold Mosley. Evelyn was born on November 2, 1933, to Reece and Edith Morgan Johnson in Harriman, TN. She spent most of her life in Cleveland, Mississippi, where she worked for Baxter Healthcare for 28 years. She was a member of the Bolivar County Homemaker Volunteers, and a volunteer for Helping Hands, Bolivar Medical Center, and Friends of Delta State University Baptist Student Union. At the time of her death, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS. Evelyn was an avid reader, lover of flowers and plants, and a faithful, loving Christian, wife, mother, and friend. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Reece and Edith Johnson, husbands, Talmage Cooper, Ed Garrison, and Bill Yarborough, brothers, Simm Johnson, Philip Johnson, James Johnson, and Alexander "Buddy" Johnson, and sister, Peggie Boyd. Evelyn is survived by her children, Rosemary Tindle(Garth), Marilyn Mosley(Harold), John Cooper(Beth), Joel Cooper(Karen), Grandchildren, Jaimie Mosley, Julie Mosley Headrick, Lori Mosley, Justin Cooper, Lindsay Gattis, Taylor Cooper, James Tindle, and Mary Tindle, Great Grandchildren, Finn Headrick, Millee Cooper, Wyatt Cooper, Whitt Cooper, Grayson Gattis and Case Gattis, Brother, Michael Johnson, and sisters, Mary Beth Seiler and Elaine Hutson. In Lieu of Flowers the family wishes all donations be made to First Baptist Church of Senatobia's Children's Ministry or St. Jude's Hospital.
