Ewell Walker

Ewell Earl 'Jabo' Walker, Jr, 78, died on Saturday, December 4th, 2010, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Drew Baptist Church, with the Rev. Johnny Bley officiating. Burial will follow in Drew Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Tuesday at Drew Baptist Church.
Mr. Walker was born on October 4, 1932 to the late Ewell Earl and Cassie (Hughes) Walker. He was a lifelong resident of Drew, and was a faithful member of Drew Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Lee H. Walker of Utica.
He is survived by his brother, Pierce Walker of Jackson, sister Nanette Shaw of Clarksdale, sister Virginia Williams of Oxford, sister Shirley Smith of Luverne, TN, and a number of nieces and nephews.
