Floyd Michael 'Slick' Williams

Mr. Floyd "Slick" Michael Williams, 61, of Merigold, MS, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016, at 11:36 p.m. in his home. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 and then 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home with Glenn Seefield. Interment will be at Williams Cemetery. Mr. Williams was born in Drew, MS, on October 16, 1954, to Earl Coy "Bully" Williams and Mary Dean Shepherd Williams. He was a member of Drew United Methodist Church and spent 42 years in agriculture as a farmer. He enjoyed farming and also liked motorcycles. He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Coy "Bully" Williams and brother, Earl Ray Williams. Mr. Williams is survived by his mother, Mary Dean Williams; nephew, Phil Williams (Michelle); niece, Jamie Williams Kendall (Brian); great-nephews, Nathan Williams, Carson Williams, Logan Kendall; great-niece, Brooke Kendall; aunt, Maxine Shepherd; cousin and caregiver, Bonita Cross. Pallbearers will be Phil Williams, Brian Kendall, Nathan Williams, Mike Shepherd, Jessie Fleming, and Mike Parker. In memory of Mr. Williams, the family requests donations made to St. Jude and Drew United Methodist Church.
