Franky Drury

Franky Drury was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday,
June 07, 2020. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 12:00P.M. In the Linn Methodist Church Cemetery. Franky was born on July 31, 1957 in Arcola, MS to John & Mary Drury. He grew up in and around the MS Delta for most of his life. He worked for many years as a mechanic for Engine Rebuilders for George Barioni. In his spare time he loved to watch Andy Griffin & Gun Smoke. Franky was an avid fisherman where he would take family often, and was a great past time for him and his brother John . Most of all Franky devoted his life to wife, children, grand's, and great grandchildren. He was a true definition of a family who will be missed dearly. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Mr. John & Mrs. Mary Drury, son, Edward "Man" Dycus, brother, Larry Drury, sister Martha Ann Wilkerson, nephew, Chris Cortez Drury, sister in law, Carol Drury. He is survived by his loving wife for over 20 years, Carol Dycus Drury, daughters, Diane Kingsbury (Albert) of Colorado, Martha Dycus(Dylan) of Greenville, MS., Laura Dycus Reeves(Chris) of Greenville, MS., son, Rodney Dycus of Greenville, MS., brother, John Drury of Greenville, MS., sister Fran Gardner(Dale) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and a host of loving grandchildren, and great grand children.
