Fred Allen Litton

Mr. Fred Allen Litton, 83, of Clarksdale, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, at Merit Hospital in Clarksdale. Visitation will be 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2016, at Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery. Mr. Litton was born in Litton, MS, on January 3, 1933, to Paul Litton and Maggie Weldon Litton. He was a member of Litton Methodist Church, and collected tickets at the Ellis Theater for many years. He never forgot a birthday, and he loved music, guitars, Elvis and Hank Williams, Sr.. He greatly enjoyed being home at Delta Manor in Clarksdale. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Maggie Litton; brothers, Glen Litton and Harry Dean Litton; and sister, Miriam Esch. Mr. Litton is survived by his brother, Jerry Litton of Pelahatchie; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. In memory of Mr. Litton, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
