Gladys Marie Hearn

Mrs. Gladys Marie Hearn, 72, of Doddsville, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Burd and Rev. Steve McMillan officiating. Interment will be in Linn Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hearn was born in Sunflower, MS, on January 8, 1944, to Robert Mann and Nannie Mae Mann. In October 1991, she married Walter Hearn in Linn, MS. She loved cooking for everyone around her and also canning food. Mrs. Hearn also enjoyed quilting and fishing in her spare time. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Mann and Nannie Mae Mann; sisters, Mary Lou Hearn and Myrtle Isom; brother, James Mann; grandson, James Mackie Gilbert; and great-grandchildren Brandon Yawn and Zachary Yawn. Mrs. Hearn is survived by her husband, Walter Hearn of Doddsville, MS; daughters, Patricia Kendall (Bubba) of Grenada, Linda Morris (Bud) of Michigan, Tammie Freeman (George) of Sunflower; sister, Barbara Trippe of Isola, MS; three grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
