Gleniece Beach passed away on June 19, 2025, in Cleveland, MS. A visitation will be held in her honor on June 23, 2025, from 1 PM to 2 PM at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. The Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the visitation at 2 PM. Gleniece will be laid to rest in a graveside service at Drew City Cemetery.
Gleniece was born on May 28, 1936 to Ben and Berniece Campbell in Shaw, MS. Gleniece grew up on Sunflower Plantation where her roots were firmly planted in the rich soils of family and community.
Gleniece attended Drew High School, graduating in 1954. After many years as a homemaker, she served as the bookkeeper for their family business until retirement. In May 1955, she married Rece Dero Beach, with whom she shared many cherished memories and a life full of love. Together, they cultivated a family that would become her proudest accomplishment.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Berniece Campbell; husband, Rece Dero Beach; brothers, Gale Campbell and Larry Campbell; and her son-in-law, Rich Lienard.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Sue Beach Lienard of Drew, MS, and her sons, Sidney Beach (Kelly) of Collierville, TN and Wesley Beach (Melissa) of Newnan, GA. Gleniece found joy in her grandchildren: John Lienard (Olivia), Allison Williams (Joe), Kevin Lienard, Sean Beach, Laney Koonce (Taylor), Whitney Crews (Trip), and Carson Beach. Gleniece is also survived by her brother, Jerry Campbell (Shirley) of Rosedale, MS, and her sister, Johnnie Roberts (Bernice) of Pearl, MS, along with her sisters-in-law, Betty Campbell and Gale Campbell; along with six great grandchildren: Nolan, Mason, David, Reese Ann, Andrew, and Jacob; and various nephews and nieces.
Throughout her life, Gleniece demonstrated unwavering love and support for her family, embodying the roles of a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with grace and dedication. Her legacy is one built on the bonds of family and the love they shared.
As we reflect on the wonderful life of Gleniece Beach, we hold dear the warmth of her spirit and the love she so freely gave. She will forever remain in our hearts.
