Glenn Colen Fisher, 72, of Cleveland went to be with the Lord Monday, April 10, 2023. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 with a Celebration of Life immediately to follow at First Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Franklinton, LA.
Glenn was born August 15th 1950, in Pearl River, MS to D.C. and Edith Fisher. He grew up and graduated from Franklinton High School in 1968. Graduated from Pearl River College and did his Anesthesia residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Glenn was also in the Louisiana National Guard. Glenn practiced Anesthesia for 30 years. He married Rebecca “Becky” Carter on May 22, 1981, in Slidell, LA. Glenn attended First Baptist Church of Cleveland, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents, D.C. and Edith Fisher, and son Trent Colen Fisher.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Becky Fisher, son, Glenn “Christian” Fisher (Jessica) of Belcher, LA; daughter, Elizabeth Fisher Weissinger (Charlie) of Greenville, MS; grandchildren, Charles Reed Lott, Scarlett Ann Fisher, Charles Hyde Weissinger IV, Trent Fisher Weissinger, Edith Celene Weissinger, and a baby girl on the way; brother, Raymond Colen Fisher (Janice) of Mt. Herman, LA.
Pallbearers will be Tom Wiggins, Lyle Skelton, Don Conger, Ken Kittel, Del Crum, David Alford, Reed Lott and Hyde Weissinger.
