Hattie Lyons

Hattie Frances Mayo Lyons, 83, of Shaw went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 22,2021. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Bro. Larry Hayes will be officiating.
Mrs. Lyons was born April 2,1938 in Shaw, MS to the late Grady F and Maude (Ferguson) Mayo. She married Edward M Lyons December 21,1962 in Shaw. They were married for 57 years. She enjoyed baking and owned Specialty Cakes for 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward M Lyons; sister, Elouise Mayo Ellis; and her parents. Hattie is survived by her son, Stanley Lyons McGaugh (Judith); daughter Diane Lyons Vandygriff (Jackey); grandchildren Jennifer McGaugh Parker, Stanley Joseph McGaugh, Clifton Edward Coleman, Brian Stephen Coleman, and Stephanie Coleman Ellis; along with 14 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Dr #900, Arlington, VA 22202.
