James Hampton

James W. Hampton, 85, of Cleveland, MS passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Bolivar Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. May 14, 2011 at Delta Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00-9:45 a.m. May 14, 2011, at Ray Funeral Home.
Mr. Hampton was born April 14, 1926 to Clarence and Lula Hampton. He served his country in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include sons, David Earl Hampton of Sierra Vista, AR and Roger Dale Hampton of Cleveland, MS; daughters Debra D. Granger of Indiana and Wanda H. Collier of Cleveland; Brother, Donald Hampton of Drew; sisters, Izie Hudson of Rena Lara, Mandy Washington of Amory, Sue Tiller of West, and Peggy Brooks of Drew; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Lula Hampton; brothers, JC Hampton and Jack Hampton; and sisters, Pearl Morgan and Lula (Hamp) Williams.
