Janice went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2022, in Cleveland, MS. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 1-2PM at Ray Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2pm in the Ray Funeral Home.

Janice was born on October 24, 1962, in Greenville, MS to Elbert & Billie Dycus. She grew up in the Mississippi Delta where she  attended school. Janice was always a kind and loving person who was loved by everyone that knew her. Janice loved her family and adored her son Johnathan. Janice had two chihuahuas dogs she loved dearly.  In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casino, and swimming. She loved to soak up the sun and enjoy the small things. She had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to her flowers and peppers. Most of all Janice had a smile and laugh that would fill your heart full of joy.

Janice is preceded in passing by her parents, Elbert & Billie Dycus, one sister Joyce Wade.

Janice is survived by her son, Jonathon Dycus, one granddaughter, Layla Roberts Dycus, siblings, Jerry Dycus, Jeff Dycus, Judy Harrison, and Julie Payne., Host of loving nieces and nephews, and her loving partner of 18 years Dale Abshure & her daughter in law Cynthia Dycus.
