Janie Faye Price

Janie Price went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2023, in Ruleville, Mississippi. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 29,2023, at First Baptist Church in Boyle, MS.

She was born on October 19, 1941, in Mississippi to her loving parents John and Stella Bridwell.

Janie's professional career spanned over 40 years as a Customer Service Representative at a bank in Shelby. Janie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boyle.  Her unwavering loyalty and exceptional service made her an invaluable team member. Janie's commitment to her work was evident to all who crossed paths with her. She always went above and beyond to ensure that every customer she assisted felt valued and respected.

Outside of work, her weekends were spent shopping and eating out at different restaurants with her daughter.  Most importantly, she cherished the memories created with her family.

She is preceded by her parents, John and Stella Bridwell; her son, Tom Price; and her brother, Bobby Bridwell.

Janie is survived by her daughter, Becky Steed, along with her husband Dwayne of Boyle, MS; grandchildren, Jennifer Price of Oklahoma, Billy Steed, Crystal Steed and fiancé Erick of Mississippi; as well as a doting great-grandmother to Carson Steed; brother Melvin Bridwell; sister, Betty Jo Shannon. The love she shared with them was immeasurable.

Janie Price will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, compassionate nature, and unwavering dedication to her family and career. Her kindness touched the lives of many, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
