Jessie Marie Causey

Jessie Causey was called home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2022, at her home. A Celebration of Life Graveside Memorial Service will be held at the McNutt Cemetery in Schlater, MS, Monday at 2:00 PM.

Jessie Marie Causey was born on June 28, 1943, to the late Mr. James Russell & Mrs. Lou Russell in Earl, Arkansas.  She graduated from Weiner High School in Weiner, AR.  She went to work in the agriculture industry specifically concerning catfish an obtained the role as Quality Control consultant for over 20 years at America’s Catch Catfish company. In her spare time, she took care of her ducks, and chickens, Jessie had a green thumb and loved to garden, but most of all she had a passion for cooking for her family. Most of all Jessie was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family with all of heart.

Jessie is preceded in passing by her parents, Mr. James & Lou  Russell; brothers, Edward “Lee” Russell and Donald Ray Hodges; sister, Audrey Russell Galabiz.

Jessie is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Thomas Leroy Causey of Mississippi, two children, Tammy Furlow of Alabama, and Randen  Canton of Mississippi., three grandchildren, Jonathan Ramsey & Amie Foster of Mississippi, Jessica & Chris Beckwith of Mississippi, and Jean Marie & Tristan Tackett of Mississippi., five great grandchildren,  siblings, Helen Russell Hodges, and Linda Russell., nieces & nephews, Clint Russell, Jason Hodges, Rachel Hodges, and John Hodges with  a host of  other loving nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
