Jimmie Mosley

Jimmie Mosley, 92, went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2023, in Indianola, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.  A Graveside Service will follow at Delta Heights Memorial Gardens at noon.

She was born on February 13, 1931. Jimmie lived a remarkable life filled with love, family, and cherished memories. Jimmie was known for her dedicated years of service at Baxter's, where she worked tirelessly and made an impact on those around her. She also volunteered at Helping Hands.  Her commitment and work ethic were admired by colleagues and served as an inspiration to many. Outside of her career, Jimmie's true joy in life came from her precious grandchildren. She had a special bond with them and cherished every moment spent in their company. Her love for them was immeasurable and brought immense happiness to her heart.  A woman of faith and devotion, Jimmie found great solace in her church Provident. She actively participated in various church activities and found comfort within its walls. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life and provided strength during challenging times.  In her free time, Jimmie enjoyed indulging in two of her favorite hobbies - painting and cooking. and delighted family and friends with delicious meals prepared from the heart. Jimmie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warm smile, kind heart, and gentle nature left an everlasting impression on the lives she touched. The memories shared with Jimmie will forever be treasured.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chief Charles Mosley; sister, Helen McClure; brother, T.D. Hamilton.
Jimmie is survived by her grandson, John Mosley, and his wife,Keri Beth; granddaughter, Sally Griffin and her husband, Clint Griffin; great-grandchildren, Halle and Aubrey Mosley and Brynn and Bodhi Griffin.
