John Stanley Hall “Johnny”, 64, of Cleveland went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 14, 2023.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.

Johnny was born June 11, 1958, in Bordeaux, France to John and Evelyn Hall.  He started being a barber in 1981 at Tiny’s Barber Shop.  Johnny purchased the shop from Tiny and renamed it Johnny’s Barbershop.  He cut hair in Cleveland for 41 years.  Johnny met his wife, Paula and the two married at the barbershop April 26, 1985.  He was loved and cherished by all of his loyal clients.  Johnny was always the life of the party and loved dancing with his wife, Paula and all his friends.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge for over 30 years.  Johnny attended Pace Pentecostal Church for most of his life.  His hobbies were bowling, shooting pool, singing, recording movies, and dancing.  Most of all, Johnny loved his family and all of their dogs throughout the years.  He was an amazing cook and loved to feed everyone.  Johnny lived life to the fullest and was a loyal husband, father, brother, grandfather, and best friend to all he met.  He leaves us with so many wonderful, fun memories that we will cherish forever. 

He is predeceased by his father, John Clark Hall; brothers, John Clark Hall III “Gopher” and Richard Allen Taylor.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife Paula Hall; mother, Evelyn Bass (Paul); son, Bo Hall (Malena); daughter, Whitney Hall Roberts (Justin); grandchildren, Brooks Roberts, Saide Roberts, Isabella Reed, Naomi Hall, and John Maverick Hall; sisters, Debbie Allis (Steve), Connie Goss (Frank), Marci Davis (Rick) and Paulette Crabtree (Bryan).
