Juan Salazar Villa, a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, passed away on October 19, 2023.  The services for Juan Salazar Villa will be held at Our Lady of Victories in Cleveland, MS. A visitation will take place on Saturday, October 28th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Mass from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The address of the church is 215 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS, 38732.
 

He was born on April 21, 1963, in Mexico. Juan migrated to the United States 23 years ago for a better future for his family.  Juan leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family. As a husband to Maria del Rosario Rojas and a father to Carlos Eduardo Salazar, Cinthia Guadalupe Salazar, Ana Karen Salazar, Juan Daniel Salazar Rojas, and Johana Paula Salazar, he always put their needs above his own. Juan cherished his role as a father and was an exceptional one at that. He constantly pushed his children to strive for excellence and provided unwavering support in all their endeavors. His dedication knew no bounds.  Not only was Juan an outstanding father but also a proud grandfather. His grandchildren Sebastian Salazar-Gonzalez, Estrella Aylin Cruz Salazar, Thalia Guadalupe Gutierrez Salazar, Arleth Sophia Salazar Gonzalez, and Jose Tadeo Gutierrez Salazar brought immense joy into his life.


Growing up with Juan as their guide and role model were his siblings Joaquin Villa, Antonio Villa, Guadalupe Linares, and Veronica Linares. They supported each other through thick and thin and shared countless memories that will forever be cherished.

Juan's passion for soccer was evident throughout his life. He not only enjoyed watching the sport but also actively participated in it. Whether on the field or cheering from the sidelines, soccer brought him great happiness.

Beyond his roles as husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, Juan touched the lives of many others as well. His warm smile and gentle spirit created friendship wherever he went. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Juan's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his unwavering support and dedication to his family. His role as a loving father and grandfather will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.

Juan is survived by his wife Maria del Rosario Rojas, his children Juan Daniel Salazar, Johana Paula Salazar, Carlos Eduardo Salazar, Ana Karen Salazar, Cinthia Guadalupe Salazar, his grandson Sebastian Salazar-Gonzalez, and his siblings Joaquin Villa, Antonio Villa, Guadalupe Linares, and Veronica Linares.

In this time of mourning, let us reflect on the love and joy that Juan brought into our lives. May his memory live on in our hearts as we remember the extraordinary man who touched so many with his kindness and compassion. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a lasting impact on this world.

Los servicios para Juan Salazar Villa se llevarán a cabo en Nuestra Señora de las Victorias en Cleveland, MS. Una visita tendrá lugar el sábado 28 de octubre de 10:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m., seguida de una misa de 12:00 p.m. a 1:00 p.m. La dirección de la iglesia es 215 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS, 38732.
 
Nació el 21 de abril de 1963 en México. Juan emigró a los Estados Unidos hace 23 años para tener un futuro mejor para su familia. Juan deja un legado de amor y devoción a su familia. Como esposo de María del Rosario Rojas y padre de Carlos Eduardo Salazar, Cinthia Guadalupe Salazar, Ana Karen Salazar, Juan Daniel Salazar Rojas y Johana Paula Salazar, siempre puso sus necesidades por encima de las suyas. Juan apreciaba su papel como padre y fue excepcional en eso. Constantemente empujó a sus hijos a luchar por la excelencia y brindó un apoyo inquebrantable en todos sus esfuerzos. Su dedicación no tenía límites. Juan no solo era un padre excepcional, sino también un abuelo orgulloso. Sus nietos Sebastian Salazar-Gonzalez, Estrella Aylin Cruz Salazar, Thalia Guadalupe Gutiérrez Salazar, Arleth Sophia Salazar González y José Tadeo Gutiérrez Salazar trajeron una inmensa alegría a su vida.
 
Creciendo con Juan como su guía y modelo a seguir fueron sus hermanos Joaquín Villa, Antonio Villa, Guadalupe Linares y Verónica Linares. Se apoyaron mutuamente a través de lo grueso y lo delgado y compartieron innumerables recuerdos que siempre serán apreciados.
 
La pasión de Juan por el fútbol fue evidente a lo largo de su vida. No solo disfrutó viendo el deporte, sino que también participó activamente en él. Ya sea en el campo o animando desde el banquillo, el fútbol le trajo una gran felicidad.
 
Más allá de sus papeles como marido, padre, abuelo, hijo, hermano y tío, Juan también tocó la vida de muchos otros. Su cálida sonrisa y su espíritu gentil crearon amistad dondequiera que fuera. Siempre estuvo ahí para echar una mano a cualquiera que lo necesitara.
 
El logro más orgulloso de Juan fue, sin duda, su inquebrantable apoyo y dedicación a su familia. Su papel como padre y abuelo amoroso será recordado para siempre por aquellos cuyas vidas tocó.
 
A Juan le sobreviven su esposa María del Rosario Rojas, sus hijos Juan Daniel Salazar, Johana Paula Salazar, Carlos Eduardo Salazar, Ana Karen Salazar, Cinthia Guadalupe Salazar, su nieto Sebastian Salazar-Gonzalez y sus hermanos Joaquín Villa, Antonio Villa, Guadalupe Linares y Verónica Linares.
 
En este tiempo de duelo, reflexionemos sobre el amor y la alegría que Juan trajo a nuestras vidas. Que su memoria viva en nuestros corazones mientras recordamos al hombre extraordinario que conmovió a tantos con su bondad y compasión.
