Judy Darnell Wilkerson

Judy Darnell Hankins Wilkerson, 75, of Shaw, MS went to be with the Lord Monday, September 5, 2022.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home.  Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at New Cleveland Cemetery. 

Judy was born October 7, 1946, to Gilbert and Wynola Hankins.  She worked in the medical field most of her life.  In the latter part of her life, she worked for BFI until retiring.  Caring for her family was her main priority.  Judy was an amazing cook who loved to feed everyone, especially the farmers.  Most importantly she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose life revolved around her family.  Her greatest treasures in life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She is predeceased by her father, Gilbert Lee Hankins mother, Wynola Gardner Hankins; husband, Sam Wilkerson; brother, William Lee Hankins; sister, Lillie Fay Watkins.

Judy is survived by her children, Randy Morris (Anita), Sandy Mott (Reggie), Brian Morris (Kerri), Lisa Griffin (Lester), Jennifer Shields (Randy); her loving companion for 20 plus years, Ray Horne; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
