Kimball Busby Glassco Tyrone

Kimball “Kim” Busby Glassco Tyrone, beloved daughter, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, in her hometown of Cleveland, Mississippi. A graveside service will be held in her honor on May 31, 2025, at Old Cleveland Cemetery, located on N Bayou in Cleveland, MS. The service will begin at 11:00 AM.

She was born on May 27, 1951, to Charles Kimball and Nell Busby Glassco. Kim earned her bachelor's degree in education from Delta State University. She taught at several schools in Mississippi and Arkansas.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Kimball and Nell Busby Glassco; brother, Charles Glassco; sister, Mary Hubbard; as well as her son, Cal Tyrone, who remain deeply missed by those who knew them both.

Throughout her life, Kim was known for her unwavering commitment to her family. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones and took pride in being a constant source of support and encouragement.

She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Kilby Kirkconnell (Evan); grandchildren, Ivy, Callie, and Fitz Kirkconnell and their grandfather, Charles Tyrone; as well as her sister, Melinda Symmes.
