Lenora Watson Davis, a cherished homemaker, went to be with the Lord

on November 8,2025, leaving behind a legacy that will forever warm the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on November 14,2025, from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at North Cleveland Cemetery starting at 11:45. The service will be led by her nephew Rev. Rob Long of Southaven, MS.

Lenora was born on September 28, 1929, to Lloyd and Sudie Watson in Bellefontaine ,MS. She married Rex Milford Davis on September 8,1948. Lenora's life was routed in her profound love for her family. She often reflected that her greatest accomplishments were her children, who were a source of immense joy and pride throughout her life. She graduated from Eupora High School. While Rex attended Delta State College, Lenora worked in the DSC Bookstore. After her children started school she worked at Denton Dairy and after relocating to Greenville she worked at McClendon Realty. Lenora was known not only for her dedication to her family but also for her passions outside of family life. An avid reader, she also enjoyed listening to music and finding joy in watching Dak Prescott play football and watching PGA Tour events. Lenora had a love for travel, especially to the beach, where many memories were created.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Sudie Watson, and her beloved husband Rex Milford Davis. Lenora is survived by her devoted sons, Steve Davis (Debbie) of Cleveland, MS, and Larry Davis (Debbie) of Lorman, MS and her loving daughters, Debbie Davis McCabe (Jessie) of Lakeland, TN and Karen Davis Dempsey (Rodney) of Murfreesboro, TN. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jennifer Davis Jones(Jayson) of Cleveland, MS, Rex Davis (Martha) of Cleveland, MS, Kathryn Davis Blackburn (Jerry Dale) of Cleveland, MS, Emilie McCabe of Charleston, SC, Anna McCabe Schuler (Ryan) of Germantown, TN, Brian Dempsey (Ellen) of Florence, AL, Brandon Dempsey (Kyle) of Murfreesboro, TN, Patrick Dempsey (Casey Busch) of Murfreesboro, TN, Aaron Davis (Megan Hoffman) of Waterproof, LA, and Kaitlyn Davis Henson (Cole) of Ackerman, MS. Lenora also took delight in her role as a great grandmother to Ali Jones, Preston Jones, Harper Jones, Emma Jones, Rex Collins Davis, William Davis, Vera Black burn, Lyla Williams, Piper Dempsey, Molly Dempsey, Vivian Dempsey, Dylan Dempsey, Luke Henson, Rowen Schular, and Nora Schular. Lenora is also survived by her sister, Sue Shaw Inman, as well as special friends Frances Wilson and Nora McFadden, who brought additional warmth and joy into her life. Lenora Watson Davis was not only a beloved family member but a beacon of love, strength, and wisdom. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Azalea Commons and Grace Hospice for their exceptional care of Lenora.
