Grace White

Grace White 89, went home to be with her Lord on February 13, 2026, in Kearneysville, WV, with her daughter by her side.

Visitation in honor of Grace will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 7 pm to 9 pm at Ray Funeral Home. Second Visitation will be Saturday, February 21, 2026,  from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a  Celebration of Life Service immediately following at Ray Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lehroton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS.

Grace was born April 21, 1936, in Dodgeville, MS, to W.D. and Lottie Phillips.

She married her sweetheart, John White January 13, 1956, in Indianola, MS. The couple had 2 children, Kenny White and Tammy White.

She will be remembered for her love, strength, and faith that made her the anchor of her family. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and could talk on the phone for hours. Her smile and laughter will be missed by many.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy White of Martinsburg, WV, and her daughter-in-law, Carolyn White of Pine Grove, LA and numerous nieces and nephews that she considered her own.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John White, her son Kenny White, her father and mother, W.D. and Lottie Phillips and 13 siblings, Jessie Phillips, Joe Phillips, Bessie Sue Jarrett, James Phillips, Floyd Phillips, Edna Bolte, Martha Bilbo, Mary Gordon, Clarence Phillips, Perl Johnson, Nellie Jones, Carl Allbritton and H.L. Ruppe.
