Louis Lara

Louis Lara, 42, of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 20, 2019, in Cleveland. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.  at Ray Funeral Home.  A second visitation will be held at 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following beginning at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Interment will be in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Louis was born in Cleveland, on November 20, 1976, to Phillip Perez Lara and Oralia Salinas Soliz Lara.  He was a very talented jack of all trades, but he excelled in the skills of carpentry and plumbing. Louis had a contagious smile and loved to make people laugh.  He enjoyed dancing, eating his mom's home cooked meals, wrestling, scoping out Lamborghinis, watching basketball especially his favorite team the Chicago Bulls and his favorite past player Michael Jordan, and spending time with his K-9 companion, Diego. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved daughters.  
He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Perez Lara; paternal grandparents, Luciano Lara, Sr. and Benita Perez Lara; maternal grandparents, Juan Soliz and Otilia Soliz; nephew, Matthew Cordero Parr; uncle and God-father, Trino Soliz; and cousin, Paul Soliz.
Louis is survived by his beautiful and dedicated mother of 42 years, Oralia Lara of Cleveland; daughters, Nadia Nicole Lara of Cleveland and Jayla Danielle Ball of Merigold; mothers of his children, Leigha Marie Harris and Elizabeth Celeste Cole Lara both of Cleveland; siblings, Gloria Hobbs (Brian) of New York, Eva Parr (Ronnie) of Mooreville, Sarah Sumner (Michael) of Tupelo, Jessie Laro (Diane) of Cleveland, Phillip Laro, Jr. (Tami) of Boyle, and Stella Stuckey (Mike) of Cleveland; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his dog, Diego.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Laro, Tyler Laro, Craig Stuckey, Joshua Sumner, Mike Stuckey, and Michael Sumner.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Phillip Laro, Jr.,  Jessie Laro, Brain Hobbs, Troy Hobbs, Ronnie Parr, Danny Soliz, Bryan "Jimmy" Jordan, and Thomas Perry.
In Memory of Louis, the family requests donations made to The American Red Cross.
