Mr. Malcolm Charles Fullilove, 84, passed away in Tunica, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Ray Funeral Home from 6:00- 8:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland with Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow the funeral in Shelby Cemetery.
Mr. Fullilove was born in Merigold, MS to C.F. Fullilove and Delores Eliza Brown on September 20, 1926. He graduated from Clarksdale High School in Clarksdale, MS. He married Ardena Lajuene Artman, February 3, 1946 in Clarksdale, MS. Mr. Fullilove taught Sunday school for 30 years and was a deacon for First Baptist Church in Shelby for 50 years. He was a member of the Lions Club, where he served as president.
Mr. Fullilove is preceded in death by his parents, C.F. and Delores Fullilove; and sister, Delores Cobb; and a daughter, Ardena Diane Fullilove.
He is survived by his wife, Ardena Lajeune Fullilove of Shelby; sons, Richard Fullilove (Danna) of Tunica, MS and Rod Fullilove of Shelby, MS; daughter, Karen Fullilove of Tunica, MS; grandchildren, Danette Roberson, Heath Fullilove, Kyle Fullilove, Adam Fullilove, and Rachel Rains; great-grandchildren, Meredith Roberson, Logan Roberson, Landon Fullilove, and Nicole Fullilove, Harlan Fullilove, Malcolm Rains and Cheyenne Williams.
Pallbearers will be Adam Fullilove, Kyle Fullilove, Matt Rains, Gene Cobb, Dr. Bill Wilson, Dr. James Warrington.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Hobbs. Jim Goodman, Logan Roberson, John Letchworth, Darrel Mallatesta, Michael Upton, and Paul Artman.
