It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Martha Frank “Frankie” Brewer, who passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at St. Luke Methodist Church in Cleveland, MS.
Born March 10, 1935, in Benoit, Mississippi, to J.T. and Pauline Litton, Frankie lived a life rooted in love, service, and devotion to her family and church. She was known for her kindness, generous spirit, and her remarkable gift for remembering names and stories, making everyone feel known and valued.
Her home was the heart of family gatherings, especially during the holidays, where she welcomed all with warmth and a home-cooked meal. She found joy in caring for others, often from her place in the kitchen.
A devoted member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Frankie spent decades serving alongside dear friends—volunteering, cooking, and helping make the church a place of warmth and community. St. Luke’s was not only her place of worship, but a central part of her life’s story.
She shared a special bond with her late husband, Stanley Ray Brewer Sr., and cherished time spent traveling with family.
Frankie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her stepmother, Lily Litton; her children, Paula Hill, and Ben Brewer; her grandson, Bo Jeffrey Brewer; and her sisters, Bryan Holder and Nancy Kastorff.
She is survived by her son, Stanley Ray (Helenann) Brewer Jr.; daughter, Beth Brewer Jones; son-in-law, Ron Hill; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
Frankie’s legacy of love, faith, and service will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
